To prevent the MediaWiki page itself from being added to the Category:Template loop warnings (since it doesn't have any loops itself) would putting the category between <nowiki> be enough? ~~~~
As you said in the edit summary, the "includeonly" was visible. I was afraid this might happen, because this is not a regular template. Any ideas for another solution? Not that it is such a big deal, but still. ~~~~
