Mälarenergi
Mälarenergi AB is a city-owned electric power and district heating provider based in Västerås, Sweden. It was previously known as Tekniska verken. As of 2006[update], it has around 540 employees and three daughter corporations: Elnät AB, Stadsnät AB, and Vattenkraft AB.
The company owns and supplies electricity and district heating nets, with an annual income of 2.2 billion SEK, as of 2006[update].
