It is requested that the page at MediaWiki:Cite error refs without references/Archive1 be created. (edit · history · last · links)

I don't like the red error message that appears when there is no <nowiki><nowiki> tag on a page, which seems to be the general consensus, but the text should be added back into this page, because the error "Cite error:" appears regardless of what the contents of this page is. At least with the text, editors can tell what the actual error is. ~~~~
