Allen Zwerdling

Allen Zwerdling (12 October 1922–12 January 2009) was a co-founder of Back Stage, the "casting bible" for theater performers.[1]
Zwerdling acted with the Players Guild of Manhattan from 1936-1941[2] before enlisting in the Army Air Force. In the Army during World War II, Zwerdling directed plays and edited a military newspaper.[1]
