How to request an SPI case
- Suspected sockpuppets - list the users or IPs you believe may be misusing accounts, one on each line, like this:
* {{checkuser|USER NAME HERE}}
* {{checkip|IP HERE}}
You can add more like this if needed, or remove lines you don't need. - Evidence - enter your evidence. It should make clear that each of these users is likely to be abusing multiple accounts. Usually this means diffs, page histories or other information that justifies why the users are a) the same and b) disruptive. This should purely be evidence and information needed to judge the matter. Avoid all other discussion that is not evidence of sockpuppetry or other multiple account abuse.
- Comments by accused and by other parties - Exactly the same, include your evidence (if any) that you wish considered to show the case is unjustified.
- Please keep "like with like" - one persons comments, then the next. Do not thread or reply to other people's sections, these will be moved.
- Clerk, and Conclusions - leave these blank. If you wish to reply, do so briefly and to the point, otherwise consider putting longer replies in your own section.
- Do NOT enter an edit summary, even if asked to - When you click save, you may be asked to enter an edit summary, or told you have to. The template already includes this.
