Concerns

I have some concerns about this article. As far as I can tell, the term "lateral computing" was invented by Suthikshn Kumar, the creator of this article, and although he has promoted it very energetically, I can't find any evidence that anybody else uses it. In particular, I haven't been able to find it used in any acceptable sources. It seems to me that this article would therefore become the most important source concerning the topic, and that is something that ought not to happen. Clarification

The term "Lateral Computing" is now accepted by computing community worldwide. Two International conferences were held during 2004 and 2005 i.e., WCLC 2004 and WCLC 2005. The First World Congress on Lateral Computing had close to 40 research paper presentations and there were key notes by International leaders in computing research such as Prof Sargur Srihari of SUNY Buffalo USA, Dr Anil Thakoor of NASA USA. The conferences were sponsored by Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). The term " Lateral Computing" has also been accepted by IEEE transactions. We need to have information on Lateral computing similar to Parallel computing, Distributed computing etc. We will continue editing this page and improve its content. Please don't delete the page.
