This should be merged into software engineering, as most of this article is already covered in that entry. DDerby 05:01, 8 Apr 2005 (UTC)

- Merge it only if searches that were conducted for either term seperately will still succeed after the merge. Combine the title?

The software design life cycle is an independent topic, contained under the general software development lifecycle topic. In general the SDLC will include requirement gathering, analysis, _design_, implementation, testing, deployment.. etc.
