Basgo is a historical town situated on the bank of the Indus river in Ladakh. It is known for its gompas and historical ruins.

Geography

Basgo is located at 34°13′N 77°17′E / 34.22°N 77.28°E / 34.22; 77.28[1]. It has an average elevation of 3292 metres (10,821 feet).
