New Addington Library is a Public Library in New Addington, South London. It stands in the London Borough of Croydon and is part of the Croydon Libraries [1] arm of the council. The park is located on Central Parade next to New Addington Leisure Centre. The library is situated on one floor, but like the leisure centre nextdoor, it's growing old.
The library includes homework help clubs, which are specially on offer to young people aged 9 - 16 support with homework assignments. The clubs benefit from the wide selection of books, supervised internet access and word processing. The club is free and young people can drop in and out when they please. The operating hours of the club is during term time Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4 - 6pm and Saturdays 2 - 5 pm. During the Half-term and Easter holidays it is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 2 - 5pm.
Services
Services available at South Norwood Library include Books, CDs, DVDs and videos for reference and loan at the reception area. There's a Children's library which includes comfy kids chairs plus tables. And like every Croydon Library there are free to use PCs which include free internet access.
