Compute Node Linux is a runtime environment for the Cray XT3, Cray XT4 and Cray XT5 computer systems based on the SUSE SLES distribution. As of November 2008 systems running CNL are ranked 2nd, 7th and 8th among the fastest supercomputers. [1]
