Block message:
Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "Tower936". The reason given for Tower936's block is: "Vandalism-only account". This is a shared IP Address and I cannot edit the wiki due to another user's actions. I wanted to update another page unrelated, but I'll wait anyway if the block isn't lifted. Thanks!
Decline reason: It would be easiest for you to simply create an account, and then, should you be blocked inadvertently, you can easily get unblock requests fulfilled. Could you do that please? — Prodego talk 04:55, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

Re: Highly POV: City of Heroes
Before I start, just because I have an issue with what you wrote doesn't mean I disagree or agree with what you wrote, just how it was presented. My few problems with the section: 1) "Mission Staleness" - "Staleness" is inherently a point of view. What may be "stale" to one person, may not be to another. It's not neutral 2) "While there are a variety of missions to choose from, the mission maps, types and rules are very limited." - "Limited" is also POV. How is one editor the judge of what is "limited"? 3) "The Mission Maps vary between three typical settings: An Office Building, a Cave, or an Outdoor area from an existing City Zone." - Needs a reference 4) "Map layouts are also very predictable, using rooms repeated in mission after mission, allowing players to predict hiding spots of enemies and mission objectives." - Again, POV. While it may be predictable to one person, it may not be to another. 5) "The mission objectives also vary little from mission to mission: the only objectives other than defeating foes is either "Glowies" (or clickable objects that validate an objective) or Victims (a named non-player character you need to save from villains and/or escort out). Even when the mission verbiage changes, the objectives remain largely the same every time." - Again, "vary little" is a matter of opinion. 6) "Developers have been paying attention to missions: in recent updates there is enough new content that it is now impossible to do all the missions available in the game on a single character before reaching Level 50. And a new mission system has been introduced in Issue 12's update allowing contextual feedback from contacts (they now respond to variables, such as player archetype, responses to questions, etc.)" - Needs a citation 7) "Despite these improvements, the actual mission content (maps, layouts, objectives) still has not changed a great deal since Game Launch." - again, a matter of opinion. There have been additional maps and layouts, saying "has not changed a great deal" is a matter of opinion 8) The whole section is written as a commentary. Something that one might see in a game magazine or a newspaper column. The article needs to have a neutral point of view. However, before a rewrite can happen, citations and references need to be gathered. Statements need to be able to be checked. Also, even if you got references for each statement, you can only repeat what was said, you can't qualify the statement.
I hope this helps. ~QuasiAbstract {talk/contrib} 21:20, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
So despite the criticism being relevant to the game, I can't say it or anything on Wikipedia, really, other sources elsewhere on the Internet must. And I'd imagine other "Opinion" places not considered bonafide publishing, like Forums or Blogs would be useable. Okay, time to search like crazy. Thanks! 209.180.155.14 (talk) 21:45, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
- You got it in a nutshell. Good places to start would be online game magazines such as IGN. Usually when a major update happens, there's a mention of it in a gaming magazine, and they might mention the minimal diversity of City of Heroes. ~QuasiAbstract {talk/contrib} 23:33, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

If that Reason box is so critical, why does MediaWiki allow me to make changes without entering anything in it? I documented my change in the Discussion page, if you would be so kind to read it. Next time every little t isn't crossed or i isn't dotted, do I lose my first born son? 209.180.155.14 (talk) 00:41, 13 November 2008 (UTC)
