Introduction
Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is a software application distributed as shareware by Malwarebytes that detects and removes malware and spyware. It is designed to remove a multitude of malicious software including but not limited to malware, spyware, trojans, adware, rootkits, rogue software, worms, and bots. Malwarebytes offers a freeware version which may be used for personal use. Although Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware detects and removes malware, it is not designed to replace an antivirus software and therefore should be used as additional protection with an anti-virus product .
Features
Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is updated daily. The product uses heuristic detection that provide detection for new variants of Trojans, such as Zlob trojan and Vundo trojans.[1]

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware supports several languages. including English, Albanian, Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Macedonian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish.[2]

On September 24th, 2008 a CNET article stated that Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware was one of a few programs able to detect and remove Antivirus XP 2008.[3] The product has a 4 star editor rating and a 4.5 star user rating at Download.com.[4] The product also received an "awesome" rating from Remove-Malware, a popular website offering malware removal assistance.[5]
2-Spyware, another spyware removal assistance website stated: "Malwarebytes Anti-malware is a great little tool and quite capable for it’s size".[6]
