Ocean Data View - software package for the analysis and visualization of oceanographic and meteorological datasets.

ODV is used by more than 10,000 scientists at leading research institutes world wide.[citation needed] The UNESCO Ocean Teacher project employs ODV as one of its main analysis and display tools.[citation needed] ODV is used to display and analyze data from several oceanographic projects such as Argo, World Ocean Circulation Experiment, World Ocean Database, World Ocean Atlas, and Medar/Medatlas projects.[citation needed] The software was written by Reiner Schlitzer.
