The Centre for Astrophysics and Supercomputing (CAS) is a research centre located at the Swinburne University in Melbourne, Australia.

The Centre comprises about 45 staff and students engaged in diverse areas of astrophysical research. It is actively involved in the planned Square Kilometre Array project and its staff have guaranteed access to the Keck telescopes in Hawaii. Computing resources include a 1950-core supercomputer. The Centre was established in 1998 when Professor Bailes moved his research group there from Melbourne University. The Centre founded Swinburne Astronomy Online, a popular Internet course known as "SAO" and creates 3D virtual reality films about astronomy for the general public.

Its motto is "Dedicated to inspiring a fascination in the Universe through research and education".
