Engineering Animation

Engineering Animation, Inc. (EAI) was a services and software company based in Ames, Iowa (the silocon prarie) from it's incorporation in 1990 until it was aquired by Unigraphics, Inc in 1999. During it's existence, EAI produced animations to support litigants in court, wrote and sold animation, visualiation software and a number of multimedia titles in the medical and games genres.

In it's hey day, EAI had offices located around the world and across the US. EAI's primary success was in the area of Visualization software initially called VisFly and later renamed as VisView. This product line lives on today as part of UGS, a CAD software and services company based in Plano, Texas.
