Historical interest

IIRC, this language may have had a role in the historical development of computer worms and viruses. I don't have any sources handy as I read the article about it years ago. Does anyone have any info about this? Perhaps it was only speculative given the publication of the article prior to the growth of viruses. I think A. K. Dewdney also expressed some regret toward his possible involvement of computer viruses, through the article. Jamal Wills (talk) 20:10, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
