The Indian Association for Research in Computing Science (IARCS) is an institution run by a group of persons engaged in computer science in one way or the other. It prepares students for the International Olympiad in Informatics which is held every year at international level.

Anyone connected with computer science can join IARCS, including teachers and students undergoing their graduation.

The members of the group conduct a programming contest within India every year to get a pool of students who can compete at the international level. There are three rounds to get selected into the final team. The final team is selected from a group of students by their performance at the training camp held every year.

IARCS initiates various programs to teach the teachers to spread the knowledge down to the grassroots level.
