Why does ASPI only talk about 'ASAPI'? Are they the same thing? Is this a typo? --Spikey 17:23, 5 Jan 2004 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure it's a typo, and I fixed it.

- ...and no, they're not the same thing. --87.122.34.149 00:10, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

ASPI on XP?
Why was ASPI removed from XP? 82.139.85.7 19:33, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
It was never bundled with any version of Windows NT. Only the 9x series had it included, why I don't know. Karsini (talk) 19:05, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
- NT operating systems come with SPTI (SCSI Pass Through Interface) for optical drive access. Even tho it has SCSI in the name, it can be used to access IDE/USB/etc drives too. [1] --Voidvector (talk) 10:34, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
