Panorama of Cochem

Cochem is a town in Rhineland-Palatinate, western Germany. It is situated in the valley of the Mosel, at the foot of a hill surrounded by a feudal castle dating from 1051.

The population of Cochem is 5,211 as of 2003, and the mayor is Herbert Hilken of the Christian Democratic Union.
