System Image Utility is a for making Netboot Image Sets to be used with Mac OS X Server, for use with the NetBoot service. It is available as part of the server admin tools package on a CD with the server software and as a download from Apple's website. It is a piece of software that rarely works and because of this people use 3rd party options like bombich's netrestore.
