Notability?
- This year Wokai officers participated at the [Asia Microfinance forum] as well as the [World Microfinance Forum] in Geneva. These important industry events bring relevent visionaries together to provide insightful discourse and thought leadership - wokai's inclusion demonstrates the noteworthiness of wokai and China microfinance
- Over the last year Wokai has enjoyed significant public media coverage(examples were provided in previous version links)
- By the end of 2012, Wokai's roadmap plan is to provide access to 14,000 new borrowers through a total of 23,000 loans.
- the 'Microfinance in China' section provided relevant background to the relevance of Wokai in this industry...i believe this content is important to the wokai entry
- Particularly following the global media attention on China from the Beijing Olympics, poverty in China has recieved increased coverage.
- In light of this growth China microfinance is expanding quickly, institutions such as wokai are a key part of this growth[1]

- Much of that content is redundant, and belongs in the articles on the relevant topics. Notability is not contagious; you do not make a better case for the notability of Wokai by explaining the notability of microfinance in China, and indeed will be seen as padding the article to exaggerate the organization's importance. And the "roadmap" is another version of the tired old WP:POTENTIAL argument. An article must be about a subject which is already notable; not one which has the potential for notability. --Orange Mike | Talk 01:44, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
