Really necessary?

Is this article really necessary? Surely an "ASIO file" is self-explanatory? Besides much of this article is conjecture and does little to advance the encyclopaedic content of Wikipedia. DirectEdge (talk) 04:11, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Arguably, this could be said of any article, including a majority of Wikipedia entries and many published by mainstream media organisations. As Orwell implied with his invention of newspeak in the book 1984, how many words are necessary anywhere at any time?
