US Space Program that successfuly landed the first person ever on the moon. It developed the Saturn V rocket. Towards the end of the program, it switched from making lunar flights to placing in orbit the first ever spacestation (Skylab), and cooperation with the Russians. It was scrapped in the 1970s to make way for the Space Shuttle.
