Computer-assisted self interviewing (CASI) is a surveying technique. Together with Computer-assisted telephone interviewing and Computer-assisted personal interviewing it is one of the main interviewing techniques that rely on the computer. Here no interviewer is present but the surveyed person fills in the questionaire on his or her own with the help of a special computer program.
