Talk:Thinned-array curse
Appearance
Needed a page explaining the thinned array curse; it's an important theorem, but hard to find a nontechnical summary on the net. Geoffrey.landis 13:29, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
- Geoffrey, I respectfully disagree completely. There is no "curse". That is merely an unreal way to regard one of the trade-offs involved in designing an antenna array. Engineering is largely about trade-offs, of which there are very many in every field, and it is unencyclopedic and inept engineering to imagine any kind of ill will or witchery behind them. Please consider a different way to explain what is notable without resorting to hearsay superstition.Cuddlyable3 11:53, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
Diagram Needed
A diagram would really help the reader to understand the problem. LorenzoB (talk) 04:09, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
- I created the image below. It's crap, but I think it helps illustrate the concept for those having a hard time doing so without a picture(I barely understood it) or at least gives us a starting point. BioTube (talk) 13:37, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
