"SunView"

original wording in the article was

[...] their own SunView and Solaris operating systems were all 'plain C' based.

Problem here is that SunView was not an operating system, but the window system for SunOS. I wasn't sure if the original author did really want to talk about SunView, as they might since it would be relevant in the context of desktop environments, or if the author actually meant "SunOS" . I decided to cover both possibilities by changing it to SunOS but adding a nod to windowing:

[...] their own SunOS (later known as Solaris) operating system and associated windowing technology was 'plain C' based.

One possibly negative side effect is that there's no longer a mention of or link to SunView. Please re-edit if I missed the intent of the original. --NapoliRoma 16:13, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
