There has been a noticable increase in the additions of articles that are very obvious dictionary definitions. These tend to be slang, and particularly slang that is unique particularly to Internet forums/groups/communities. Examples include roflcopter and blogsnob. Our list of ethnic slurs seems to be breeding sub-stubs, because we have banana (person), blatte and fresh off the boat. More can be found in Category:Ethnic slurs.

This is not compatible with Wikipedia is not a dictionary, because there are simply no loopholes big enough to allow these exceptions. Either the inclusion policy needs to be change or we need to set a very strict limit on this. Right now, we're including even non-English slang (we're talking foreign words, not loanwords here), which is far beyond what people would ever consider proper of an English-language encyclopedia.
