Concordance

I am trying to do this concordance in order to be able to generate Unicode fonts from legacy fonts that are organized by Borger number. However, the concordance as derived from Anderson's sign list seems to be wrong (unless Borger has completely overthrown his scheme in the 2003 edition): B001=ASH is ok. B002 = HAL = ASH.ASH is ok. But B003 = HAL seems mistaken, since already B002 = HAL, and B003 = MUG. B005 = BA, not BAL. BAL is actually B009, and encoded at 12044, not 12045. For this reason, the concordance should be considered broken, and should probably be redone manually (or maybe updated once cuneiformsigns.org is updated?) dab (ᛏ) 12:28, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

it may be that some "missing signs" may still be mapped to unmatched codepoints. Some unicode character names remain enigmatic. I have no idea what "121B6 CUNEIFORM SIGN KWU318" is supposed to be. Also, what are "12356 CUNEIFORM SIGN USHX", "12358 CUNEIFORM SIGN USHUMX", "12361 CUNEIFORM SIGN ZAMX"? dab (ᛏ) 16:30, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

more font headaches

I noticed the cuneiform fonts on this table won't display in my firefox 3.0 browser, however when the table entry is changed from unicode|xxxxxx to cuneiform|xxxxxx it displays fine. I changed the entry for the first sign, if no one else has objections I suggest they all be changed.--Gurdjieff (talk) 15:09, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I fixed the unicode problem and made the table sortable. I think this article can be merged with list of cuneiform signs now that signs can be ordered by multiple schemes in a single sortable table--Gurdjieff (talk) 03:44, 9 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
