"After These Messages ... We'll Be Right Back!" is the twentieth issue of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Eight series of comic books, a continuation of the television series of the same name. It is written by Jeph Loeb.

Plot

Very little is known about the plot of this issue, although it has something to do with the animated series that never made it to air. It will be drawn to by two artists. Georges Jeanty and an unknown artist.

Production

This issue will be written by Jeph Loeb, who worked on the animated series with Joss Whedon. The issue will have a link to the animated series. The issue had some problems at the beginning as artists ahd to be approved by Sarah Michelle Gellars representatives, and since there was no offical artist working yet, Loeb had not started work on the script as he 'tailors the script around the artist he is working with.'
