Instantiations is a founding and active member of the Eclipse Foundation and an IBM Business Partner. Since the launch of its first Eclipse product in 2001, Instantiations has developed an extensive line of products for Eclipse, IBM Rational®, JBuilder® and MyEclipse®. Instantiations also acquired worldwide development and distribution rights to the VisualAge® Smalltalk product line from IBM in 2004, and continues development and support for that product under the brand VA Smalltalk™.

Instantiations’ SWT Designer earned the first place Readers Choice award from Eclipse Magazin for Best Eclipse-based Commercial Software Solution in 2006.
