Most of Dingbat2007's accounts and ips were being used to vandalize Wikipedia. Zimmbotkiller (talk) 06:39, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • A, C, E, & F: PLACE A CODE LETTER HERE (SEE WP:RFCU)
  • Dingbat2007: )
  • Supporting evidence: Evading Ban, Massive Sock Puppetry used for repeated vandalism.

Most of these are very old now -- there is a limit to how long CU data is kept. A brief look at this shows that the IP addresses used reflect the list given above -- they are pretty much anywhere in the 75.0.0.0/7 range. This is obviously far too big to block. There is very little that CheckUser can do to help here.  Completed. Sam Korn (smoddy) 13:20, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Supporting evidence:

User has a pattern of making minute edits to articles, always without explanation, and usually involving changing the year. To the uninitiated, this can appear to be merely a content dispute, but the edits are generally random and show no forethought. User also creates articles for low-power stations that, in some cases, do not exist, but often assigns them made-up affiliations such as with HSN, or with cable-only networks such as NBC WeatherPlus, Disney Channel, and TV Land. User has long displayed pattern of large-scale nuisance editing, requiring extensive time to research and to clean up.

  • Image:KingWorld-Spotlights.jpg - as IP, changed year, no explanation or source given
  • King World Productions - as IP, changed year, no explanation or source given
  • WBUI - as 76.195.181.153, changed year in infobox, but not in article; no explanation or source given
  • WBDT - as 76.195.181.153, changed year in infobox, but not in article; no explanation or source given
  • KB39HB - as Word83, creates LPTV station with notice of future affiliation change to TV Land
  • WLBT - as 75.62.206.181, adds bogus NBC Weather Plus affiliation
  • WLBT - as Word42, adds bogus NBC Weather Plus affiliation again, after it was reverted
