Talk:Tutorial
perhaps this can be an index for tutorials under various categories, such as cooking, gardening, programming, etc
- Wikipedia is WP:NOT a set of tutorials or a web directory of tutorials. Sorry. --Perfecto 05:39, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
This looks like multiple Tutorial topics in one page. I might recommend disabiguating them into multiple articles and turning this into a disambiguation page.
Expand section on supervision
Perhaps someone would be kind enough to expand on the section dealing with supervision at Cambridge and Oxford. That is a particularly interesting area worthy of elaboration. (Unfortunately I've had no experience with them so can't contribute). Nicknz 04:59, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
UK schooling
Should a section about the use of tutorials in the UK secondary schooling system? Englishnerd 20:23, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
Australia
There's a bit about Australia here and it is just about right, but it should be pointed out that tutes tend to be the most important part of the course. Lectures are often optional while missing a tutorial is frowned upon to the extent where your grade suffers if you miss more than one or two, work is marked by your tutor, any oral presentations are presented in and marked in your tutorial etc.
