BootIt Next Generation is an advanced boot manager, partition manager, and disk imaging backup software program developed by TeraByte Unlimited, and was first released in 2000. BootIt Next Generation is the latest release in the BootIt line of products that started in 1994.

BootIt Next Generation is alternatively known as BootIt NG, or even simply as BING.

Boot Manager

BootIt Next Generation supports multi-booting any PC-compatible operating system that adheres to the traditional PC architecture. It supports on-the-fly hiding of partitions and configuration of the MBR by way of special boot items, as well as a direct boot menu to boot any existing bootable partition.

Partition Manager

BootIt Next Generation supports a full line of partition management functions such as creation, deletion, undeletion, non-destructive resizing, and sliding. It contains built-in editors for text files and the Windows Vista BCD. BootIt Next Generation also supports the EMBR Specification which, for one, allows more than four primary partitions to exist on a single hard drive.

Partition Imaging

BootIt Next Generation supports creating and restoring compressed backup images of partitions on the system.
