Sun Java System Web Server (formerly Sun ONE Web Server) is a secure, reliable, easy-to-use Web server designed for medium and large business applications. Available on all major operating systems, the Java System Web Server provides organizations with a single deployment platform for Web services, JavaServer Pages (JSP) and Java Servlet technologies, Microsoft Active Server Pages, PHP, and CGI.


Being the inventors of Java technology, the Java System Web Server naturally supports the JavaServer Pages and Java Servlet specifications. The product also supports Active Server Pages (via Sun Java System Active Server Pages (formerly Sun ONE Activer Server pages), which is bundled with the Java System Web Server), PHP, ColdFusion, and CGI.
