A very high ranking Police Officer in overall charge of a major Police Operation, eg, Major Pandemic Outbreak. The Gold Commander would typically have 10,000 personnel under his/her control. The command centers are split up as Gold Command, Silver Command and Bronze Command with Gold at the top level. The Gold Commander might be equated to a Three Star position in the military.
