Copying XDF

The version of OS/2 Warp 3.0 distributed on floppies (IIRC it was almost 40 disks for the version with the most features, though not all had to be used since several contained only network card and printer drivers) included a utility (on a standard 1.44M disk) for making backup copies. The user manual very strongly urged the user to make copies of all the disks BEFORE beginning to install OS/2. The utility could also create blank XDF disks, but they were useless since OS/2 3.0 was incapable of writing to them. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bizzybody (talkcontribs) 22:10, 1 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
