  • I think that AMS support either a) is messed up or b) needs to be added. I was working on a complex formula today, and noticed that the AMS \ltimes function was unrecognised. The base (La)TeX doesn't support that one, but AMS-LaTeX does, so... where was I going? Oh, right, it'd be handy to have that. Vermi 09:59, 8 Apr 2005 (UTC)

It would be useful to have support for html-rendering of \cdot (), as many simple expressions are rendered only because they contain this character.

Formulae from a "doing math" perspective

Is it possible to encode mathematical functions into the text of a WikiPedia page? If yes, then it would be useful to include a link to that information from this page. If not, then it would be useful to state that here as well.

Thanks for considering this.
