Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) is an important computer science series published by Springer-Verlag. It reports start-of-the-art research results in computer science, especially in th eform of proceedings, post-proceedings and research monographs. In addition, tutorials, state-of-the-art surveys and "hot topics" are increasingly being included. LNAI (Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence)and LNBI (Lecture Notes in Bioinformatics) are two sub-series of LNCS. The LNCS editorial team are based in Heidelberg, Germany.
