The U.S. Climate Change Science Program is a joint program of over twenty U.S. federal agencies, all working together to investigate climate change. In June 2008, a report issued by the program stated that weather would become more extreme, due to climate change. [1] [2]

Participants include: Agency for International Development, U.S. Department of Agriculture, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, National Institute of Standards and Technology, U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Department of Energy, National Institutes of Health, U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Transportation, U.S. Geological Survey, Environmental Protection Agency, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, National Science Foundation and the Smithsonian Institution.
