I'm not sure what it's purpose is; User:Example is not a real person - it is only an account to be used as an example. - DiligentTerrier (and friends) 21:27, 14 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ask the creator of the page what? Will you please re-explain what you said in more detail? Thanks for your time:-)--SJP (talk) 03:45, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • I strongly recommend this MfD be withdrawn or closed, and the page kept. You don't nominate a page for deletion until you have a valid reason for deletion. This means you should know the purpose of the page first. The purpose of the page is to demonstrate an online/offline status indicator in conjunction with the WP:UPDC. Also, there are some example menus that access that page to show how to integrate a status indicator into a menu. Please don't delete it, or a bunch of redlinks will show up on the pages it is utilized. Following "What links here" would have revealed the purpose of the page. In the future, please don't nominate for deletion pages you are unsure about. It wastes a lot of people's time. Thank you. If you have any questions about anything Wikipedia-related, I'll be glad to answer them anytime, or direct you to someone who will likely know the answer. Sincerely, The Transhumanist    04:03, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
