Company history
Apparent Networks was co-founded by Irfhan Rajani, Fred Klassen, and Kelly Daniels in 2000.
The company started with the name Jaalam Research, which was modified later to Jaalam Technologies then renamed to Apparent Networks after the first product known as appareNet.
Apparent Networks completed venture capital financing during 2002.
Irfhan Rajani previously co-founded Zentra, a network storage integration firm, and TeleBackup Systems, which developed software that enabled off-site computer backup over the Internet. In 1999, TeleBackup was sold to Veritas Software, a global leader in data storage systems, for over US$143 million.
