Lighthouse Digest

Lighthouse Digest is a specialty magazine for lighthouse or maritime enthusiasts published in [[East Machias, Maine]. Currently it publishes eleven issues a year. It started publishing in May of 1992 and is dedicated to saving lighthouse history, current and yesteryear, for future generations. Lighthouse Digest has subscribers in all 50 United States and 17 other nations.
Stories include historical and current events, plus they publish a Doomsday List of Endangered lighthouses, a calendar of events of lighthouse activities around the United States, as well as elsewhere.
They have been credited with uncovering many parts of lighthouse history that were otherwise thought to have been lost and they have helped save a number of lighthouses that were in danger.
Each issue is packed with unusual stories of lighthouse news that, for the most part, cannot be found anywhere else, and there are lots of photos, both historic and modern day.
Editor and publisher is Timothy Harrison. Managing editor is Kathleen Finnegan.
