The Oslo School of Architecture and Design was established as an independent school in 1961, after having been a part of the National College of Art and Design from 1945. In 2001 the school moved into a new building in central Oslo. The school offers Masters degrees in Architecture, Industrial Design, Urbanism, and Computer-Related Design. There is also a PhD program. There is about 530 students and an academic staff of about 70.
