Working in Partnership Programme (WiPP)[1] was launched in England in 2004 under the new General Medical Services (nGMS) contract to support general practice by providing them with innovative ideas on how to improve services for the public.

The programme has 13 initiatives. The GMS contract provided the funds, while the intiatives are being implemented by a number of different agencies in England. The WiPP website provides links to resources, tools and techniques, such as online training courses and best practice guides for download.[2]
