The P8 microarchitecture is a hypothetical name for the eight generation microprocessor architecture of Intel, to be released soon to replace the NetBurst microarchitecture. Some speculators suggest that the architecture might be markted as NetBurst 2'. The architecture is expected to be used in future versions of chips like Celeron, Pentium, and Xeon

Technology

Analysts expect that all chips to be produced that will use the new architecture is expected to have features like hyperthreading, EMT64, and low power consuption.
