The Teaching Knowledge Test, or TKT, is a professional credential that focuses on core teaching knowledge for teachers of English as a foreign language. It is at a lower level than the CELTA, and does not have a practical teaching component. Instead, assessment takes the form of a written examination made up of three modules, which can be take together, or separately in any order.
