Twisted Method
From Cape Coma, Florida, Twisted Method is a nu-metal band that were briefly signed to the Music Corporation of America. The company bought them a spot on the side stage at Ozzfest of 2003, and during that time were purchased by Geffen Records. Despite having the highest record sales of all the bands on the side stage that year, Twisted Method hung around in contract limbo for quite a while. Things were looking up when Geffen indicated that they'd finance a second CD, and even put them out on tour with Dope twice in 2004. Things were not to be, though, as a few months after the second tour ended, an announcement was made on their website by vocalist Tripp that the band was breaking up. Tripp and Derek have since started a new group that sounds very similar to Twisted Method called Make-Shift Romeo.
