The links to programs supporting image metadata manipulation may be considered spam and has been marked as such. However, an overview of programs supporting extracting or editing embedded image metadata is highly valuable information. The extent to which of a software handles descriptive image metadata is rather difficult to obtain from software descriptions and cannot be sought by simply keyword search.
