History
The concept of Norge.no was initiated by Morten Meyer, Minister of Government Administration and Reform. At first it was part of the County Governor of Sogn og Fjordane, but on January 1, 2005 it was created as a seperate governmnet agency located in Leikanger. From January 1, 2008 the agency ceased to exsist and was merged with Statskonsult and the Norwegian eProcurement Secretariat to form the Agency for Public Management and eGovernment.[1]
