"Object Oriented Role Analysis Method (OORam)" is a method, based on the concept of role, for performing object-oriented modeling. OORam is a precursor for the Unified Modelling Languange.

OORAm was originally developed by Trygve Renskaug, professor at the University of Oslo and founder of the Norwegian IT company Taskon.

The method is presented in 'T. Reenskaug, P. Wold, and O. A. Lehne. Working with Objects: The OORAM Software Engineering Method. Manning/Prentice Hall, 1996'
